ग्रहसंख्यावर्णनम् — ध्रुवस्य तपोबलात् ध्रुवस्थानप्राप्तिः

विष्णोराज्ञां पुरस्कृत्य ज्योतिषां स्थानमाप्तवान् एवं ध्रुवो महातेजा द्वादशाक्षरविद्यया

viṣṇorājñāṃ puraskṛtya jyotiṣāṃ sthānamāptavān evaṃ dhruvo mahātejā dvādaśākṣaravidyayā

విష్ణువు ఆజ్ఞను ముందుంచి గౌరవించి ధ్రువుడు జ్యోతిష్కుల మధ్య స్థానాన్ని పొందెను; ఈ విధంగా మహాతేజస్సు గల ధ్రువుడు ద్వాదశాక్షర విద్యచేత ఆ పదాన్ని చేరెను।
