सूर्यरथनिर्णयः (चन्द्रस्य पक्षवृद्धिक्षयविधानम्)

ततः पञ्चदशे भागे किंचिच्छिष्टे कलात्मके अपराह्णे पितृगणा जघन्यं पर्युपासते

Transliteration

tataḥ pañcadaśe bhāge kiṃcicchiṣṭe kalātmake aparāhṇe pitṛgaṇā jaghanyaṃ paryupāsate

Translation

తదుపరి కాలవిభాగమయమైన పదిహేనవ భాగంలో, అపరాహ్ణ సమయంలో కొద్దిగా శేషం మిగిలి ఉండగా, పితృగణములు ఆ జఘన్యమైన—అంటే శేషభాగాన్ని—ప్రతీక్షిస్తూ ఉపాసిస్తారు।
