सूर्यरथ-रचना, ध्रुव-प्रेरणा, मास-गणाः च

द्वादशास्य क्रमेणैव कुर्वते ऽभीषुसंग्रहम् प्रयान्ति यज्ञोपेतान्ता रक्षोहेतिमुखाः सह

dvādaśāsya krameṇaiva kurvate 'bhīṣusaṃgraham prayānti yajñopetāntā rakṣohetimukhāḥ saha

ద్వాదశ-చక్ర క్రమానుసారం వారు కిరణాలను సంగ్రహిస్తారు; ఆపై యజ్ఞ ఉపసంహారంతో కలిసి ముందుకు సాగుతారు—రాక్షస నివారణనే ప్రధాన లక్ష్యంగా, రక్షణాయుధాలు ధరించినవారు।
