FAQs

It legitimizes the Shaiva path by naming authoritative Mahāyogins whose realization supports Linga-centered devotion and yogic discipline as means to approach Pati (Śiva).

By foregrounding peerless Mahāyogins, it implies that Shiva-tattva is accessed through supreme yoga that cuts Pāśa (bondage) and reveals the soul (Paśu) in relation to Pati—Śiva as the unsurpassed Lord.

The emphasis is on Mahāyoga aligned with Pāśupata orientation—inner discipline and realization under a lineage of teachers, complementing external Linga-pūjā.
