Adhyaya 23: श्वेत-लोहित-पीत-कृष्ण-विश्व-कल्पेषु रुद्रस्वरूप-गायत्री-तत्त्ववर्णनम्
या वै दृष्टा महासत्त्वा सर्वभूतधरा त्वया तस्माच्च विश्वरूपत्वं प्रजानां वै भविष्यति
yā vai dṛṣṭā mahāsattvā sarvabhūtadharā tvayā tasmācca viśvarūpatvaṃ prajānāṃ vai bhaviṣyati
నీవు దర్శించిన ఆ మహాసత్త్వా—సర్వభూతాధారిణి—ఆ కారణంగా ప్రజలకు నిశ్చయంగా విశ్వరూపత్వం కలుగుతుంది.
