आसने शयने याने नैव तिष्ठेत् कदाचन / धावन्तमनुधावेत गच्छन्तमनुगच्छति

āsane śayane yāne naiva tiṣṭhet kadācana / dhāvantamanudhāveta gacchantamanugacchati

గురు ఆసనంపై కూర్చున్నా, శయనిస్తున్నా, యానంపై ఉన్నా—అప్పుడు శిష్యుడు ఎప్పుడూ నిలబడి ఉండకూడదు. గురువు పరుగెత్తితే వెనుక పరుగెత్తాలి; గురువు నడిస్తే వెంటనే అనుసరించి నడవాలి.
