यैः समाराधितो रुद्रः पूर्वस्मिन्नेव जन्मनि / ते विन्दन्ति परं क्षेत्रमविमुक्तं शिवालयम्
yaiḥ samārādhito rudraḥ pūrvasminneva janmani / te vindanti paraṃ kṣetramavimuktaṃ śivālayam
ఎవరు పూర్వజన్మలోనే రుద్రుని విధివిధానంగా ఆరాధించారో, వారు పరమ క్షేత్రమైన అవిముక్తం—శివాలయాన్ని—ప్రాప్తి పొందుతారు।

It frames liberation-oriented attainment as the फल of prior Rudra-upāsanā: by grace gained through devotion, the seeker reaches the “supreme kṣetra,” symbolizing proximity to the highest reality embodied as Śiva.
The verse emphasizes upāsanā (devotional worship/propitiation) of Rudra as a long-term sādhana spanning births; in Kurma Purana’s Pāśupata-leaning ethos, sustained devotion and disciplined worship mature into access to liberating sacred space (kṣetra).
With Lord Kūrma teaching the फल of Rudra-bhakti, the text models Shaiva–Vaishnava synthesis: Viṣṇu (as Kūrma) authoritatively praises Śiva’s grace and sacred abode, presenting both as aligned in the path to the highest good.
