ఇట్లు శ్రీకూర్మపురాణం షట్సాహస్త్రీ సంహిత పూర్వవిభాగంలోని చతుర్దశ అధ్యాయం సమాప్తమైంది. సూతుడు పలికెను—పూర్వం స్వయంభూ బ్రహ్మ “ప్రజలను సృష్టించు” అని ఆజ్ఞాపించగా దక్షుడు దేవులు, గంధర్వులు, ఋషులు, అలాగే అసురులు మరియు నాగులను సృష్టించాడు।
