Dakṣa-yajña-bhaṅgaḥ — Dadhīci’s Teaching and the Destruction of Dakṣa’s Sacrifice
देवाः सहर्षिभिश्चासंस्तत्र साहाय्यकारिणः / विनाशयाशु तं यज्ञं वरमेकं वृणोम्यहम्
devāḥ saharṣibhiścāsaṃstatra sāhāyyakāriṇaḥ / vināśayāśu taṃ yajñaṃ varamekaṃ vṛṇomyaham
అక్కడ దేవతలు ఋషులతో కూడ సహాయకులుగా ఉన్నారు. “ఆ యజ్ఞాన్ని వెంటనే నాశనం చేయుము; నేను ఈ ఒక్క వరమే కోరుచున్నాను.”

It does not name Shiva or Vishnu directly; yet, in the Kurma Purana’s Shaiva–Vaishnava synthesis, protecting yajña is a shared dharmic concern, reflecting the Purana’s non-sectarian emphasis on preserving cosmic order rather than factional divinity.
