स्नानाङ्‌गतर्पणं कृत्वा देवर्षिपितृतोषकम् । शुद्धे वस्त्रे परीधाय जलाद्‌बहिरुपागतः

snānāṅgatarpaṇaṃ kṛtvā devarṣipitṛtoṣakam | śuddhe vastre parīdhāya jalādbahirupāgataḥ

స్నానాంగమైన తర్పణమును ఆచరించి, దేవతలను, ఋషులను, పితృదేవతలను తృప్తిపరచి, శుద్ధ వస్త్రములను ధరించి నీటి నుండి బయటకు రావాలి.
