Diti’s Puṁsavana Vow, Indra’s Intervention, and the Birth of the Maruts
दितिरुत्थाय ददृशे कुमाराननलप्रभान् । इन्द्रेण सहितान् देवी पर्यतुष्यदनिन्दिता ॥ ६८ ॥
ditir utthāya dadṛśe kumārān anala-prabhān indreṇa sahitān devī paryatuṣyad aninditā
పరమేశ్వరుని ఆరాధనచేత దితి పూర్తిగా శుద్ధురాలైంది. ఆమె మంచం నుండి లేచి, ఇంద్రునితో కలిసి తన నలభై తొమ్మిది కుమారులను చూచింది. వారు అందరూ అగ్నివలె ప్రకాశిస్తూ ఇంద్రునితో స్నేహబంధంలో ఉన్నారు; అది చూసి అనిందిత దేవి ఎంతో సంతోషించింది.
