तत: प्रादुष्कृतं तेज: प्रचण्डं सर्वतोदिशम् । प्राणापदमभिप्रेक्ष्य विष्णुं जिष्णुरुवाच ह ॥ २१ ॥

అనంతరం అన్ని దిశలలో భయంకరమైన తేజస్సు వ్యాపించింది. దానిని ప్రాణాపాయంగా చూసిన అర్జునుడు భగవాన్ శ్రీకృష్ణుని ఉద్దేశించి పలికాడు।
