रहूगण त्वमपि ह्यध्वनोऽस्य सन्न्यस्तदण्ड: कृतभूतमैत्र: । असज्जितात्मा हरिसेवया शितं ज्ञानासिमादाय तरातिपारम् ॥ २० ॥

Transliteration

rahūgaṇa tvam api hy adhvano ’sya sannyasta-daṇḍaḥ kṛta-bhūta-maitraḥ asaj-jitātmā hari-sevayā śitaṁ jñānāsim ādāya tarāti-pāram

Translation

హే రహూగణా! నీవు కూడా ఈ ఆకర్షణ మార్గంలో బాహ్యశక్తి బారిన పడ్డావు. అందువల్ల సమస్త జీవుల పట్ల సమమిత్రుడవడానికి—రాజపదవిని, శిక్షాదండాన్ని విడిచిపెట్టు. ఇంద్రియవిషయాలపై ఆసక్తిని వదలి, హరిసేవతో పదును పెట్టిన జ్ఞానఖడ్గాన్ని ధరించు; అప్పుడు మాయాగ్రంథిని ఛేదించి అజ్ఞానసముద్రం అవతలికి దాటగలవు।
