nivedito ’thāṅgirasā somaṁ nirbhartsya viśva-kṛt tārāṁ sva-bhartre prāyacchad antarvatnīm avait patiḥ

అంగిరసుడు సమస్త విషయాన్ని సృష్టికర్త బ్రహ్మదేవునికి నివేదించగా, బ్రహ్మదేవుడు సోముడు (చంద్రదేవుడు) ను తీవ్రంగా గద్దించాడు. ఆపై బ్రహ్మదేవుడు తారను ఆమె భర్త బృహస్పతికి అప్పగించెను; అప్పుడు భర్త ఆమె గర్భవతినని గ్రహించాడు.
