श्रीबादरायणिरुवाच स एवमाशंसित उद्धवेन भागवतमुख्येन दाशार्हमुख्य: । सभाजयन् भृत्यवचो मुकुन्द- स्तमाबभाषे श्रवणीयवीर्य: ॥ १ ॥
śrī-bādarāyaṇir uvāca sa evam āśaṁsita uddhavena bhāgavata-mukhyena dāśārha-mukhyaḥ sabhājayan bhṛtya-vaco mukundas tam ābabhāṣe śravaṇīya-vīryaḥ
శ్రీ బాదరాయణి అన్నాడు—భాగవతులలో శ్రేష్ఠుడైన శ్రీ ఉద్ధవుడు ఈ విధంగా వినయంతో ప్రార్థించగా, దాశార్హులలో ప్రధానుడైన ముకుందుడు తన సేవకుని మాటలను గౌరవించి, శ్రవణీయమైన లీలావీర్యముగల ప్రభువు అతనికి ప్రత్యుత్తరం చెప్పడం ప్రారంభించాడు.
