पुरुषावयवैर्लोका: सपाला: पूर्वकल्पिता: । लोकैरमुष्यावयवा: सपालैरिति शुश्रुम ॥ ११ ॥

Transliteration

puruṣāvayavair lokāḥ sapālāḥ pūrva-kalpitāḥ lokair amuṣyāvayavāḥ sa-pālair iti śuśruma

Translation

హే పండిత బ్రాహ్మణా! పూర్వం సమస్త లోకాలు తమ తమ పాలకులతో కలిసి విరాట్-పురుషుని మహాదేహంలోని వివిధ అవయవాలలో స్థితమై ఉన్నాయని చెప్పబడింది. లోకాలు ఆ దేహంలోనే ఉన్నాయని నేనూ విన్నాను; అయితే వాటి నిజమైన స్థానం ఏమిటి? దయచేసి వివరించండి।
