Arjuna Marries Subhadrā; Kṛṣṇa Honors Two Devotees in Mithilā (Śrutadeva and Bahulāśva)

भगवांस्तदभिप्रेत्य द्वयो: प्रियचिकीर्षया । उभयोराविशद् गेहमुभाभ्यां तदलक्षित: ॥ २६ ॥

bhagavāṁs tad abhipretya dvayoḥ priya-cikīrṣayā ubhayor āviśad geham ubhābhyāṁ tad-alakṣitaḥ

ఇద్దరినీ సంతోషపెట్టాలని భగవంతుడు వారి రెండు ఆహ్వానాలనూ స్వీకరించాడు. ఆయన ఒకేసారి రెండు ఇళ్లలోనూ ప్రవేశించాడు; ఎవరికీ ఆయన మరొకరి ఇంట్లోకి వెళ్లడం కనిపించలేదు.

According to Śrīla Viśvanātha Cakravartī, Kṛṣṇa visited Śrutadeva and Bahulāśva at the same time by manifesting Himself in duplicate forms, along with the sages. Thus King Bahulāśva thought that Lord Kṛṣṇa had come only to his house, leaving Śrutadeva to return home disappointed, while Śrutadeva believed that just the reverse was the case.
