Sudāmā Brāhmaṇa: Divine Friendship, Guru-bhakti, and the Lord’s Grace
किमनेन कृतं पुण्यमवधूतेन भिक्षुणा । श्रिया हीनेन लोकेऽस्मिन् गर्हितेनाधमेन च ॥ २५ ॥ योऽसौ त्रिलोकगुरुणा श्रीनिवासेन सम्भृत: । पर्यङ्कस्थां श्रियं हित्वा परिष्वक्तोऽग्रजो यथा ॥ २६ ॥
kim anena kṛtaṁ puṇyam avadhūtena bhikṣuṇā śriyā hīnena loke ’smin garhitenādhamena ca
[అంతఃపురవాసులు అన్నారు:] ఈ అవ్యవస్థితమైన, భిక్షాటన చేసే బ్రాహ్మణుడు ఏ పుణ్యం చేశాడు? ఈ లోకంలో శ్రీలేని, నిందితుడైన, అధముడని భావించబడే ఇతనిని త్రిలోకగురు, శ్రీనివాసుడైన భగవంతుడు గౌరవంతో సేవిస్తున్నాడు; మంచంపై కూర్చున్న లక్ష్మీదేవిని వదలి, ప్రభువు ఇతనిని అన్నయ్యలా ఆలింగనం చేసుకున్నాడు।
