एकं पादं पदाक्रम्य दोर्भ्यामन्यं प्रगृह्य स: । गुदत: पाटयामास शाखमिव महागज: ॥ ४३ ॥
ekam pādaṁ padākramya dorbhyām anyaṁ pragṛhya saḥ gudataḥ pāṭayām āsa śākham iva mahā-gajaḥ
భీముడు ఒక కాళ్లను తన పాదంతో నొక్కి, మరొక కాళ్లను రెండు చేతులతో పట్టుకొని, మహాగజం కొమ్మను విరిచినట్లు, గుదం నుండి పైకి జరాసంధుని చీల్చివేశెను।
