Kṛṣṇa Defeats Bāṇāsura and Receives Śiva’s Prayers
The Śoṇitapura Battle and the Jvara Episode
नारदात्तदुपाकर्ण्य वार्तां बद्धस्य कर्म च । प्रययु: शोणितपुरं वृष्णय: कृष्णदैवता: ॥ २ ॥
nāradāt tad upākarṇya vārtāṁ baddhasya karma ca prayayuḥ śoṇita-puraṁ vṛṣṇayaḥ kṛṣṇa-daivatāḥ
నారదుని ద్వారా అనిరుద్ధుని కార్యాలు మరియు ఆయన బంధన వార్త విని, శ్రీకృష్ణునే తమ ఇష్టదైవంగా పూజించే వృష్ణులు శోణితపురానికి బయలుదేరారు।
They went after hearing from Nārada that Aniruddha had been captured, and they set out to address the situation and rescue him under Kṛṣṇa’s leadership.
It means “those whose Deity is Kṛṣṇa”—the Vṛṣṇis are described as devotees who regard Kṛṣṇa as their supreme Lord and guiding refuge.
It teaches that devotees should respond to crises by seeking reliable spiritual guidance, staying united with sādhus and devotees, and taking purposeful action centered on the Lord.
