एष आयाति सविता त्वां दिद‍ृक्षुर्जगत्पते । मुष्णन् गभस्तिचक्रेण नृणां चक्षूंषि तिग्मगु: ॥ ७ ॥

eṣa āyāti savitā tvāṁ didṛkṣur jagat-pate muṣṇan gabhasti-cakreṇa nṛṇāṁ cakṣūṁṣi tigma-guḥ

హే జగత్పతే! సవితా దేవుడు నిన్ను దర్శించుటకు వచ్చెను; తన తీవ్రమైన ప్రకాశ కిరణచక్రంతో జనుల కళ్లను మసకబార్చుచున్నాడు।
