मैत्रेय उवाच अथ तस्य पुनर्विप्रैरपुत्रस्य महीपते: । बाहुभ्यां मथ्यमानाभ्यां मिथुनं समपद्यत ॥ १ ॥

Transliteration

maitreya uvāca atha tasya punar viprair aputrasya mahīpateḥ bāhubhyāṁ mathyamānābhyāṁ mithunaṁ samapadyata

Translation

మైత్రేయుడు పలికెను—ఓ విదురా! తరువాత పుత్రహీనుడైన మృత రాజు వేనుని రెండు భుజాలను బ్రాహ్మణులు మరియు మహర్షులు మళ్లీ మథించిరి. దాని ఫలితంగా ఒక పురుషుడు మరియు ఒక స్త్రీ యుగలంగా బయలుదేరెను।
