लोहितेन स्वधितिना मिथुनं कर्णयोः कृधि । अकर्तामश्विना लक्ष्म तदस्तु प्रजया बहु

IAST Transliteration

lóhitena svádhitinā mithunáṃ kárṇayoh kr̥dhí | ákartām aśvínā lákṣma tád astu prajáyā bahú ||

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

With the red-hued axe make thou a paired mark upon the ears. Let the Aśvins fashion the sign: so be it—abundant in progeny.

Translation

ఎర్రని స్వధితి (కొడలి)తో రెండు చెవులపై జత-చిహ్నం చేయి. అశ్వినౌ ఆ లక్ష్మ-చిహ్నాన్ని నిర్మించుగాక; అది అట్లే కలుగుగాక—ప్రజయా బహులంగా, సంతానసమృద్ధితో.
