स्वरन्ति त्वा सुते नरो वसो निरेक उक्थिनः । कदा सुतं तृषाण ओक आ गम इन्द्र स्वब्दीव वंसगः

IAST Transliteration

sváranti tvā suté náro váso nireké ukthínaḥ | kadā sutáṃ tṛṣāṇá óka ā́ gama índra svabdī́va váṃsagaḥ ||

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

At the pressed Soma the men sing thee aloud, O Wealth-lord, at the outpouring—the hymn-chanters. When, thirsting for the pressed draught, wilt thou come homeward, O Indra, sweet-drinking, eager to enjoy?

Translation

హే వసు-స్వామీ! సోమం పిండినప్పుడు, ఉక్తం పాడే నరులు నిరేక—ధారాప్రవాహ సమయంలో—నిన్ను గట్టిగా స్తుతిస్తారు. హే ఇంద్రా, మధురపానకుడా, భోగాసక్తుడా! పిండిన పానీయానికి తృష్ణతో నీవు ఎప్పుడు గృహం/నివాసానికి వచ్చెదవు?
