यद् वा रुमे रुशमे श्यावके कृप इन्द्र मादयसे सचा । कण्वासस्त्वा ब्रह्मभि स्तोमवाहस इन्द्रा यच्छन्त्या गहि
yád vā rúme rúśame śyā́vake kṛ́pe índra mā́dayase sácā | káṇvāsaḥ tvā bráhmabhiḥ stóma-vāhasa índrā yácchanty ā́ gahi
Or when, at Ruma, at Ruśama, at Śyāvaka, at Kṛpa, Indra, thou art made glad in fellowship—then the Kaṇvas, hymn-bearers, with their potent prayers, direct thee: Indra, come hither.
లేదా—రుమ, రుశమ, శ్యావక, కృప—ఈ స్థలాలలో, హే ఇంద్రా, నీవు సఖ్యభావంలో ఆనందింపబడుతావు; అప్పుడు కణ్వులు, స్తోమ-వాహకులు, తమ బలమైన బ్రహ్మ (మంత్ర-ప్రార్థన)లతో నిన్ను ప్రేరేపించి పిలుస్తారు—“హే ఇంద్రా, ఇటు రా.”
