सोमेनादित्या बलिनः सोमेन पृथिवी मही। अथो नक्षत्राणामेषामुपस्थे सोम आहितः

IAST Transliteration

soména ādityā́ balínaḥ soména pṛthivī́ mahī́ | átho nákṣatrāṇām eṣā́m upásthe sóma ā́hitaḥ ||

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

By Soma are the Ādityas made strong; by Soma the broad Earth is made great. Moreover, in the bosom of these constellations Soma is laid up and established.

Translation

సోమమువల్ల ఆదిత్యులు బలవంతులు అవుతారు; సోమమువల్ల విశాలమైన భూమి మహత్తును పొందుతుంది. ఇంకా ఈ నక్షత్రాల ఉపస్థంలో (అంకంలో) సోమం స్థాపితమై నిహితంగా ఉంది.
