ब्रह्मचर्येण तपसा राजा राष्ट्रं वि रक्षति । आचार्योऽ ब्रह्मचर्येण ब्रह्मचारिणमिच्छते

IAST Transliteration

brahmacaryéṇa tápasā rājā rāṣṭráṃ ví rakṣati | ācāryó brahmacaryéṇa brahmacā́riṇam icchate ||

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

By holy studentship, by ardent austerity, the King doth guard and widely shield the realm. The Teacher, by that studentship, desireth and seeketh the vowed Student.

Translation

బ్రహ్మచర్యం మరియు తపస్సు ద్వారా రాజు తన రాష్ట్రాన్ని కాపాడుతాడు; దానిని అన్ని వైపులా రక్షించి నిలుపుతాడు. ఆచార్యుడూ అదే బ్రహ్మచర్యం ద్వారా బ్రహ్మచారిని (వ్రతధారి శిష్యుని) కోరుతూ వెతుకుతాడు.
