अभिक्रन्दन् स्तनयन्नरुणः शितिङ्गो बृहच्छेपोऽनु भूमौ जभार । ब्रह्मचारी सिञ्चति सानौ रेतः पृथिव्यां तेन जीवन्ति प्रदिशश्चतस्रः
abhikrándan stanáyann aruṇáḥ śitíṅgo bṛhácchepo ’nú bhū́mau jabhāra | brahmacārī siñcati sā́nau rétaḥ pṛthivyā́ṃ téna jīvanti pradíśaś cátasraḥ ||
Roaring aloud, thundering, the ruddy one, bright-horned, great-trailed, bore it along and set it upon the earth. The Brahmacārin sprinkles seed upon the height; thereby the Earth is quickened, and by that the four quarters live.
గర్జిస్తూ, మేఘగర్జనలా మ్రోగుతూ, అరుణుడు (ఎర్రని వర్ణమున్నవాడు), ప్రకాశించే శృంగములు కలవాడు, మహా-శేపుడు (దీర్ఘ పుచ్ఛము/దీర్ఘ విస్తారమున్నవాడు) దానిని మోసికొని వచ్చి భూమిపై ఉంచాడు. బ్రహ్మచారి ఎత్తైన స్థలంలో రేతస్ (వీర్యం/బీజం)ను సించుతాడు; దానివల్ల భూమి సజీవమవుతుంది, మరియు దానివల్లనే నాలుగు దిక్కులు జీవిస్తాయి.
