पञ्चविंशतिपणावरेषु कुक्कुटनकुलमार्जारश्वसूकरस्तेयेषु हिंसायां वा चतुष्पञ्चाशत्पणो दण्डः नासाग्रच्छेदनं वा चण्डालारण्यचराणामर्धदण्डाः ॥ कZ_०४.१०.०२ ॥

Transliteration

pañcaviṃśatipaṇāvareṣu kukkuṭanakulamārjāraśvasūkarasteyeṣu hiṃsāyāṃ vā catuṣpañcāśatpaṇo daṇḍaḥ nāsāgracchedanaṃ vā caṇḍālāraṇyacarāṇām ardha-daṇḍāḥ

Translation

ఇరవై ఐదు పణాల కంటే తక్కువ విలువ ఉన్న కోడి, ముంగిస, పిల్లి, గుర్రం లేదా పంది దొంగతనం లేదా వాటికి హాని చేసినప్పుడు శిక్ష యాభై నాలుగు పణాలు; లేదా ముక్కు చివర కోయడం కూడా విధించవచ్చు. చండాలులు మరియు అరణ్యవాసులకు శిక్ష సగం.
