अर्धार्धाभ्यधिकाः सर्वाः पूर्वपूर्वाञ्जलेर्मताः अर्धाञ्जलिश् च शुक्रस्य तदर्धञ्च ततौजसः

ardhārdhābhyadhikāḥ sarvāḥ pūrvapūrvāñjalermatāḥ ardhāñjaliś ca śukrasya tadardhañca tataujasaḥ

ముందు చెప్పిన అన్ని పరిమాణాలు, ప్రతి ఒక్కటి ముందున్న అంజలికంటే ఒకన్నర రెట్లు (అర్థానికి అర్థం పెరుగుదలతో) అని భావించబడింది. శుక్రం పరిమాణం అర్ధ అంజలి; ఓజస్సు దాని అర్ధం (అంటే పావు అంజలి) అని చెప్పబడింది.
