FAQs

It prescribes deva-ārādhana through ājya-homa—specifically the performance of a thousand ghee oblations as an efficacious ritual act.

It exemplifies the text’s practical ritual manuals (pūjā/homa-vidhi), giving a measurable procedure (sahasra-āhuti) along with its stated results, typical of the Agni Purana’s instructional scope.

The verse links ājya-offerings to two fruits: purification (sarva-kalmaṣa-nāśana) and attainment of desired ends (sarva-kāma-prada), framing homa as both expiatory and goal-fulfilling.
