शिलेष्टकादिविन्यासं मन्त्रैः प्रार्च्य सुरांश् चरेत् नन्दे नन्दय वासिष्ठे वसुभिः प्रजया सह

శిలేష్టకాది విన్యాసాన్ని ఏర్పాటు చేసి, మంత్రాలతో ముందుగా దేవతలను ఆరాధించి, ఆపై పూజాక్రమంలో ప్రవేశించాలి. నందా విధిలో, ఓ వాసిష్ఠ, ‘నందయ’ అని ఆహ్వానించి, వసువులతో కూడి సంతానసమృద్ధి నిమిత్తం చేయాలి.
