समुद्र उवाच पुंसाञ्च लक्षणं वक्ष्ये स्त्रीणाञ्चैव शुभाशुभं एकाधिको द्विशुक्रश् च त्रिगन्भीरस्तथैव च

సముద్రుడు పలికెను—పురుషుల లక్షణములను, అలాగే స్త్రీల శుభాశుభ లక్షణములను నేను వివరిస్తాను. వాటిలో ‘ఏకాధిక’, ‘ద్విశుక్ర’ మరియు ‘త్రిగంభీర’ అనే భేదములు కూడా ఉన్నాయి।
