Chapter 237 — Rāma’s Teaching on Nīti (रामोक्तनीतिः)

कृपणः पीड्यमानो हि मन्युना हन्ति पार्थिवं क्रियते ऽभ्यर्हणीयाय स्वजनाय यथाञ्जलिः

kṛpaṇaḥ pīḍyamāno hi manyunā hanti pārthivaṃ kriyate 'bhyarhaṇīyāya svajanāya yathāñjaliḥ

కృపణుడైన నీచుడు కోపంతో బాధపడితే రాజునికూడా కొడతాడు; కానీ తన స్వజనుడైన, పూజ్యుడైనవాడి ఎదుట మాత్రం చేతులు జోడించి అంజలి బద్ధంగా వినయంగా నిలుస్తాడు।
