Saṅgrāma-Vijaya-Pūjā (सङ्ग्रमविजयपूजा) — Rapid Worship and Sūrya-Mantra for Victory
ఈ అధ్యాయంలో ఈశ్వరుడు సంగ్రామజయార్థం సూర్యుని కేంద్రంగా చేసుకొని సంక్షిప్త ‘సంగ్రామ-విజయ-పూజ’ విధానాన్ని ఉపదేశిస్తాడు. మొదట సూర్యుని షడంగ మంత్రాలతో న్యాసం చేసి రక్ష, తేజస్సు, కర్మపూర్ణతను స్థాపిస్తారు. తరువాత ధర్మముతో ప్రారంభమయ్యే అష్టసంపదలు—ధర్మ, జ్ఞాన, వైరాగ్య, ఐశ్వర్యం మొదలైనవి—బాహ్య విజయం కోసం అంతర్గత అర్హతలుగా ఆహ్వానించి పూజ చేస్తారు. సాధకుడు సూర్య-చంద్ర-అగ్ని మండలాన్ని కమలకర్ణికా-కేశరాల వలె ధ్యానించి, అందులో దీప్తా, సూక్ష్మా, జయా, భద్రా, విభూతి, విమలా మొదలైన శక్తులు, అలాగే సత్త్వ-రజస్-తమస్, ప్రకృతి-పురుష తత్త్వాలను స్థాపిస్తాడు. చివరికి ఆత్మ-అంతరాత్మ-పరమాత్మ త్రిధ్యానం, అష్ట ద్వారపాల రక్షతో, ఉపహారాలు, జపం, హోమంతో ముగిసి యుద్ధారంభంలోను ఇతర నిర్ణాయక కార్యాలలోను విజయాన్ని ప్రసాదిస్తుంది.
