तारान्त्याग्निवियत्प्रायो मन्त्र आग्नेय इष्यते शिष्टः सौम्यः प्रशस्तौ तौ कर्मणोः क्रूरसौम्ययोः

‘తారా’, ‘అంత్య’, ‘అగ్ని’, ‘వియత్’ (సంబంధిత ధ్వనులు/అక్షరాలు) అధికంగా ఉన్న మంత్రం ‘ఆగ్నేయ’గా భావించబడుతుంది. మిగిలినవి ‘సౌమ్య’ మంత్రాలు. ఈ రెండూ వరుసగా క్రూరకర్మలకు, సౌమ్యకర్మలకు శ్రేష్ఠమని ప్రశంసించబడతాయి.
