पक्वं पीत्वा जयत्याशु सदाहं वातशोणितं कफवातविनाशिनीमिति ज त्रिकटुत्रिफलाकुष्ठमिति ञ पटोलत्रिफलाभिरुकटुकामृतसाधितमिति ख , छ , ञ च गुग्गुलं कोष्णशीते तु गुडुची त्रिफलाम्भसा

ఈ సిద్ధం చేసిన ఔషధాన్ని బాగా పాకిన తరువాత సేవిస్తే, దీర్ఘకాల దాహాన్ని మరియు వాత-శోణితం (రక్తంలో వాతజ వికారం) ను త్వరగా జయించి, కఫ-వాత రుగ్మతలను నశింపజేస్తుంది—ఇది ‘జ’ అనే పేరుతో చెప్పబడింది. ‘త్రికటు–త్రిఫలా–కుష్ఠ’ సమ్మేళనం ‘ఞ’. పటోల, త్రిఫలా, అభిరు, కటుకా, అమృతా (గుడూచి)లతో సిద్ధం చేసినది ‘ఖ/ఛ/ఞ’. గుగ్గులును గోరువెచ్చగా లేదా చల్లగా, గుడూచి-త్రిఫలా సంస్కృత జలంతో ఇవ్వాలి।
