Note: ‘ञ, ट’ appear as editorial/textual markers in the provided input, not meaningful padas.
Related Themes: Agni Purana 282 (rasayana/bhaishajya dosage and yoga section)
It gives an Ayurvedic formulation method: Triphalā is measured (100 palas), processed by bhāvanā (impregnation) with honey, and combined with drākṣā, guḍūcī (amṛtā), viḍaṅga, and lauha-cūrṇa in specified proportional parts.
Beyond theology, the Agni Purana preserves practical health sciences—weights, processing techniques (bhāvanā), materia medica (drākṣā, guḍūcī, viḍaṅga), and mineral supplementation (iron)—showing its wide-ranging, handbook-like scope.
In Purāṇic framing, maintaining health through sattvic, regulated remedies supports dharma by enabling daily duties, purity, and disciplined living; such prescriptions are treated as welfare-oriented knowledge (loka-hita) taught by a divine narrator.
