महाबलो महाकायो योजनायुतविस्तरः । अजेयः सर्वदेवानां त्रैलोक्यक्षयकारकः । ब्रह्मणा तस्य तुष्टेन वरो दत्तो वरानने
mahābalo mahākāyo yojanāyutavistaraḥ | ajeyaḥ sarvadevānāṃ trailokyakṣayakārakaḥ | brahmaṇā tasya tuṣṭena varo datto varānane
அவன் மிகுந்த வலிமையுடையவன், பேருடலுடையவன், பத்தாயிரம் யோஜனங்கள் வரை பரந்தவன்; எல்லா தேவர்களுக்கும் வெல்லமுடியாதவன், மூவுலக அழிவுக்குக் காரணமானவன். ஓ வரானனே, அவனால் மகிழ்ந்த பிரம்மா அவனுக்கு வரம் அளித்தார்।
