अश्वत्थं पश्चिमे चैव पलाशं चोत्तरे क्रमात् । बाहुदंडप्रमाणेन ध्वजांस्तत्र निवेश्य वै
aśvatthaṃ paścime caiva palāśaṃ cottare kramāt | bāhudaṃḍapramāṇena dhvajāṃstatra niveśya vai
மேற்கில் அச்வத்த (அரச) மரத்தையும், முறையாக வடக்கில் பலாச மரத்தையும் நிறுவினார். அங்கே கைத் தண்டின் அளவின்படி கொடிகளையும் நாட்டினார்.
