शोकात्केचिदुरो जघ्नुः शिरो जघ्नुश्च केचन । हा राजपुत्र हा तात क्वासि क्वासीति बभ्रमुः
śokātkeciduro jaghnuḥ śiro jaghnuśca kecana | hā rājaputra hā tāta kvāsi kvāsīti babhramuḥ
துயரால் சிலர் தங்கள் மார்பைத் தட்டினர்; சிலர் தலையை அடித்தனர். ‘அய்யோ இளவரசே! அய்யோ அன்புக் குழந்தையே! நீ எங்கே—எங்கே?’ என்று அழுதபடி கலங்கி அலைந்தனர்.
