तं पादमूले पतितं स्वपुत्रं विवेद नासौ पृथिवीपतिः क्षणम् । प्रबोधितोऽमात्यजनैः कथंचिदुत्थाय क्लिन्नेन हृदालिलिंग
taṃ pādamūle patitaṃ svaputraṃ viveda nāsau pṛthivīpatiḥ kṣaṇam | prabodhito'mātyajanaiḥ kathaṃcidutthāya klinnena hṛdāliliṃga
தன் பாதமூலத்தில் விழுந்திருந்த தன் மகனை அந்த மண்ணின் அரசன் ஒரு கணம் அறியவில்லை. அமைச்சர்கள் எப்படியோ விழிப்பித்தனர்; அவர் எழுந்து, துயரால் நனைந்த உள்ளத்துடன் அவனை அணைத்தார்.
