अर्घ्यमष्टगुणोपेतं पाद्यशुद्धोदकेन च । तेनैवाचमनं दद्यान्मधुपर्कं मधूत्तरम्
arghyamaṣṭaguṇopetaṃ pādyaśuddhodakena ca | tenaivācamanaṃ dadyānmadhuparkaṃ madhūttaram
எட்டு நற்குணங்களுடன் கூடிய அர்க்யத்தை அர்ப்பணித்து, தூய நீரால் பாத்யம் அளிக்க வேண்டும். அதே நீரால் ஆச்சமனம் செய்ய வைத்து, பின்னர் தேனுடன் சிறந்த மதுபர்க்கத்தை சமர்ப்பிக்க வேண்டும்।
