श्रुत्वा तमुत्कटं शब्दं राजा त्यक्तशिवार्चनः । निर्ययौ राजभवनान्नगरक्षोभशंकया
śrutvā tamutkaṭaṃ śabdaṃ rājā tyaktaśivārcanaḥ | niryayau rājabhavanānnagarakṣobhaśaṃkayā
அந்த அச்சமூட்டும் பேரொலியைக் கேட்ட அரசன் சிவபூஜையை விட்டுவிட்டு, நகரத்தில் கலக்கம் எழுமோ என்ற அச்சத்தால் அரண்மனையிலிருந்து வெளியே சென்றான்।
