पश्यंति दिविजाः सर्वे विमानस्थाः सकौतुकाः । अथेयमपि चांडाली वसनाशनतृष्णया
paśyaṃti divijāḥ sarve vimānasthāḥ sakautukāḥ | atheyamapi cāṃḍālī vasanāśanatṛṣṇayā
விமானங்களில் அமர்ந்திருந்த தேவர்கள் அனைவரும் ஆவலுடன் பார்த்தனர். அப்போது அந்த சாண்டாளி பெண்ணும் உடை மற்றும் உணவுக்கான ஏக்கத்தால் தூண்டப்பட்டு புறப்பட்டாள்.
