कृषीवलाः शस्त्रधरा निर्देवा जिह्मवृत्तयः । न जानंति परं धर्मं ज्ञानवैराग्यलक्षणम्
kṛṣīvalāḥ śastradharā nirdevā jihmavṛttayaḥ | na jānaṃti paraṃ dharmaṃ jñānavairāgyalakṣaṇam
அவர்கள் வெறும் உழவர்களும் ஆயுதம் தாங்கியவர்களும்; தேவநம்பிக்கையற்ற, வஞ்சக நடத்தை உடையவர்கள்; ஞானம்-வைராக்யம் எனும் இலக்கணமுடைய பரம தர்மத்தை அறியார்.
