kathāyāṃ kīrtyamānāyāṃ ye gacchaṃtyanyato narāḥ | bhogāṃtare praṇaśyaṃti teṣāṃ dārāśca saṃpadaḥ

Translation

கதைப் பிரசங்கம் நடைபெறும்போது அதை விட்டு வேறிடத்திற்குச் செல்லும் ஆடவர்களுக்கு—இன்பங்களின் நடுவிலேயே அவர்களின் மனைவியும் செல்வமும் அழிவுறும்।
