पराशर उवाच । अत्रावाच्यं हि यत्किंचित्कथं शक्तोस्मि शंसितुम् । यच्छ्रुत्वा धृतिमंतोपि विषादं प्राप्नुयुर्जनाः
parāśara uvāca | atrāvācyaṃ hi yatkiṃcitkathaṃ śaktosmi śaṃsitum | yacchrutvā dhṛtimaṃtopi viṣādaṃ prāpnuyurjanāḥ
பராசரர் கூறினார்—இங்கே சொல்லத் தகாத ஒன்று உள்ளது; அதை நான் எவ்வாறு உரைக்க இயலும்? அதை கேட்டால் உறுதியானவர்களும் கூட துயரத்தில் ஆழ்ந்துவிடுவர்.
