इति सा दृढनिर्बंधा वार्यमाणापि बंधुभिः । सत्यलोपभयान्नारी प्राणांस्त्यक्तुं मनो दधे
iti sā dṛḍhanirbaṃdhā vāryamāṇāpi baṃdhubhiḥ | satyalopabhayānnārī prāṇāṃstyaktuṃ mano dadhe
இவ்வாறு, உறவினர்கள் தடுத்தாலும் அவள் உறுதியான தீர்மானத்தில் நிலைத்தாள். சத்தியம் குலையுமோ என்ற அச்சத்தால் அந்தப் பெண் உயிர் துறக்க மனம் கொண்டாள்.
