वेश्यो वाच । वयं तु स्वैरचारिण्यो वेश्यास्तु न पतिव्रताः । अस्मत्कुलोचितो धर्मो व्यभिचारो न संशयः
veśyo vāca | vayaṃ tu svairacāriṇyo veśyāstu na pativratāḥ | asmatkulocito dharmo vyabhicāro na saṃśayaḥ
வேசி கூறினாள்—நாங்கள் சுயஇச்சை நடத்தையுடைய பெண்கள்; வேசிகள் பதி-விரதைகள் அல்ல. எங்கள் குல மரபுக்குரிய தர்மம் திருமணத்துக்கு அப்பாற்பட்ட உறவுதான்; இதில் ஐயமில்லை.
